Hi Everyone! It's Liz's day! Wooo Hooo! This event isn't a usual traditional CHALLENGE but more of a scrap with the featured designer! It’s a fun event to just scrap with products from a fave designer or try a new (to you) designer. It’s all about having fun and celebrating the uniqueness of all of our Lilypad Designers!

I asked Liz a few questions to learn a little more about her! I always love learning a little about my fav designer!

1. How were you first introduced to digital Scrapbooking?
In 2008, after shortly moving to Western North Carolina, I made a new friend who introduced me to digital scrapbook and Photoshop. Before that I was an avid paper scrapbooker. I was 100% all in after she came over and taught me a little bit.

2. How did you end up starting your own template line?
Once I started playing around with digital scrapbooking I tried out some free templates. I did like using them, but when paper scrapbooking the layout was always the fun part for me. How should I lay out my page and showcase my photos? I decided pretty early on that I liked designing my own pages, and that's how I started making templates.

3. What are your favorite items to scrap with on your pages?
Stamps, buttons and word strips.

4. Do you have a favorite template pack?
That's a hard choice. Probably any of my Simple & Sweet sets. I also like using my Artsy Journal Templates.

5. Do you have a least favorite template pack, but it's a big seller and the customers like it?
Hmmm, when I'm creating I usually love what I'm making and then sometimes after it's in the store awhile I have different feelings about it. One of those sets is Musically Inclined. I think it's the colors or something. I really want to retire them and revamp them, but they are a big seller! Maybe I should just make another set?

6. What do you think of garden gnomes?
The first thing I think of when I think of garden gnomes is a little ice cream shop that used to be in our town, and when our oldest girls were little we would go get ice cream and sit out in the garden area and the girls loved the gnome. So I guess you could say I have sentimental feelings toward garden gnomes.

7. What actress would play you in a movie?
Oh goodness. I don't know much about popular actresses. It would have to be someone who is mom-like, and kind of funny (or at least she thinks she is). Any ideas?

1. Create a new layout for this challenge combining two of Liz's templates into one scrapbook page.
2. Please let me know which 2 templates you used.
3. Comply with The Lilypad Galley Guidelines. This is noted at the top of the gallery, and states: "GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed."
4. Share your layout in this thread.
5. Challenge will close at midnight Sunday, February 19, 2023.
