This is a 50LB INCREASE since mid December, 50 LB!!!!! I can't describe how proud I am of how far I have come, plus I am super excited for next week! Next week we got for 1 MAX REP, my 1 MAX REP right now is 155LB, which is less than my 3 REP from tonight, which means that I should be able to increase my 1 REP by at least 20 LBS!!!!! I'll keep you updated next week on Monday night!
Holy wow!! Of all things, I thought that would be one I could go heavy on. I've watched so many who are much smaller than me (like tiny little gals) pass me up on that. I'm so afraid of injuries though (because I've tweaked my back with it several times) that I think I don't push myself to go heavier. Way to go though!!! That's awesome...and VERY heavy!!
Debra, I have back problems so my coaches are very very hard on me to keep my form at all times! If I start sagging or not keeping my form they make me go lighter and don't let me lift heavy that day. I am very blessed that they are always on top of things checking us. I did 195 lbs a few months ago for ONE squat and I could have probably gone 200 but my body was tired so I stopped. It is a matter of knowing your body. I think I finally got a hold of what my body wants or can do and it changes every single time I get in the gym.
Thank you ladies for your support. Now, I really need to get back into the food bandwagon and it is specially difficult with the holidays approaching.
