Welcome to Day 8 of our Christmas in July: 10 Days of Christmas Challenge! Today, my challenge for you is to create a layout that showcases a funny memory from the holidays (you can also use a funny winter memory if you don't celebrate the holidays). You can use any style of scrapping but you must journal at least two sentences about the funny memory. Here's my page. I journaled about my dear grandmother Camel, who regularly did funny things to make us laugh. Here she is at almost 90 years old, with her foot up on the dinner table: Challenge Guidelines: Create a page that showcases a funny holiday (or winter time) memory. You must JOURNAL at least 2 sentences about the memory on your page (photos are optional). Upload your layout to the LILYPAD gallery and then copy and paste the BB IMG code here in this thread to post and link your gallery page. TLP Guidelines: Your page must contain at least 75% current Lilypad products (currently for sale in store...please check the store to make sure your product is still for sale). Your page must be created for this challenge specifically and cannot be used for any other challenge as you can't use the same page for more than one challenge. If your journaling isn't in English, please translate and post the English in the gallery credits. Challenges close Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 11:59 pm EDT. Everyone who completes all 10 challenges will get a $3 coupon. One random "10 challenge finisher" will receive a $10 coupon.
This immediately came to mind! Dad has really lightened up as the years have passed. He comes from the "old school" strong & silent class. Hard worker, dedicated and now, sometimes catches us off guard with his dry humor. This day, the humor was a bit, no, a LOT more on the silly side!
2010 was my funniest Christmas memory. My 5 oldest grandkids were really wild and crazy that year by the time they got to our house on Christmas evening. They had the best time and of course I encouraged their antics by taking pictures. Haha My then SIL wasn't too amused - as you can tell - all he wanted to do was eat. We all still laugh about this Christmas and the kids still want to see these funny pictures.
This challenge was much harder than I expected it to be! Thankfully I found this video of my son singing Jingle Bells which is more cute than funny but hopefully it counts.

journaling reads: Zoe was so excited to see snow for the first time! But she freaked out when she realized it was too much for her little legs.
HOpe this counts. It was in December or January: This is one of our favorite funny memories at our house which happened near Christmas. The journaling reads: When Katie was two years, near Christmas or in early winter, she heard a commercial on TV for a Disney special called Mickey Goes to Moscow. She was just learning to talk and thought of a local drugstore, Ocso. Confused, she asked “Mickey Goes to Osco?” She obviously couldn’t understand why Mickey Mouse would need to go to the store!
