    Have you watched Death in Paradise, Murdoch Mysteries (known as "The Artful Detective" in the US), or Republic of Doyle? They're not exactly the same but they're also mystery shows with little actual blood or craziness, if you will. Netflix recommended Father Brown based on my interest in Murdoch (and in Midsomer Murders). ETA: those are options in case you don't want to rewatch Father Brown lol.
