OK, guys... here are your instructions. Remember: Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed. Put your pages in this thread before the 4pm deadline and I'll be sending you a coupon later tonight. 1. Select 2 papers. A solid paper as your background and a patterned paper to place on top, covering most of the solid paper. (think of the solid paper as a mat, can be peeking out on as many sides of the patterned paper as you want) 2. Add one photo with a patterned paper mat under it. The photo and mat together should not take up more than 1/4 of the page. 3. Add 3 stacked journal cards next to the photo and attach them to the photo with something (staples, stitching, button, clip, etc...). You can use one JC on top of 2 similarly sized paper pieces if desired, I just want to see THREE "card-sized" papers. 4. Add an element cluster in any corner that includes at least 3 elements. 5. Add at least two lines of journaling to your page anywhere and add a date. 6. Use at least one flying element on your page. (bug, butterfly, airplane, rocket, bird, etc...) 7. Add your shadows and a title (NOTE: you can count your JC at the title if desired as long as it is appropriate) All prizes have been sent and here's the inspiration page from @cinderella !
Here's a page... I used the top card as the title. There is a date added but the preview here won't show it. link to page
I had to leave in the middle of the chat, but I was able to scrap. I hope I followed all instructions... (the date is part of the journaling, I didn't add it separately too)
Absolutely wonderful layouts. Thanks for the great directions. Here's mine: We got a massive amount of rain on top of snow and frozen ground. It created what looked to me like a gorgeous Asian pond scene on February 20, 2018 in our backyard.
Whew that was fast for me. This wasn't something I'd normally do, because multiple pp's are hard for me. So thanks for that push. I didn't have any journaling cards, so I had to make my own, which added to my layout time. But I got it done. Thanks for the challenge, Jen.
Thanks for the extra hour! We're having internet problems so my fingers are crossed this posts! My flying element is the balloons.
thank you for the chat, and the challenge. The children helped me a bit with this, and TJ learnt a bit of HSL adjusting. Here's my page. I've got to go clean up the kitchen, then I'll go and leave love on the other layouts.
