I think it's so funny how opinionated we all are about colors here... go figure in a artsy scrapbooking forum we'd all have opinions about colors. :giggle

I personally love the color of the year and I think it's pretty much the first time ever that I've like the color they've pick. So I'm pretty much the anti-trend kinda gal! Lol!

I love purple!!! I wear it a lot and any kit with purple has my attention. However, I do not decorate with it - well almost. My Christmas tree is silver, white, and purple, but that is it.

When I was young, my siblings all decided that purple was also their favorite color. So I switched to orange to be unique. I was in my 30's before I realized that I could switch back to purple as my favorite.

My sister once bought a house where every room was some shade of lavender to purple; she repainted it.

And this might be a favorite kit, because you know purple...

There was a post on a Scrapping Forum years ago, could have been here, could have been Scrap Orchard, about purple being the least used colour in scrap kits. I can't remember why, but it is still true today. Go to the store and have a look at the NEW 12/29 stuff. There is a significantly purple kit in there :giggle :heartlub BUT the rest have none or very little purple in them.
    Weird huh...

I personally don't like any shade of purple. However, I've noticed it sneaking into a couple of kits I've bought recently and I guess I can work with it. Not a fan. There was a poem entitled, "When I'm old, I Shall Wear Purple". I think that warped me. :furious:rollingpin
