I don't remember joining the forum, but I see that I joined in March 2014 -- and posted my first reply in the forum today. I've taken a break from digital scrapbooking for the past two years and I want to get back to it in 2018. I also discovered that since I wasn't scrapping, I wasn't taking as many pictures. There are some on my cell phone and on my point-and-shoot that lives in my backpack, but I've hardly had my good camera out of the bag for almost a year. A bit about me. I'm an IT Specialist and travel frequently. Digital scrapping means that I can work on it no matter where I am. I'm the mother of three grown children and two grandkids. Hubby is retired and I'm beginning to think about it, but I like my job too much right now. In addition to scrapping, I read (I read a LOT!!) and I dabble with my family genealogy.

Hi Elsi - glad to meet you and so glad you intro'd yourself! Sounds like you have plenty of subjects to scrap in your family & hopefully your good camera will get a bit more of a workout this year! Travel and love your job! That is a win win situation, now to get you scrapping again! woot! What a grand time to jump back in! I am catching up with new folks as the amazing Month of Challenges 6 begins! I hope you are able to pop in and play along with us this month. It is one of the best rejuvenators of scrapping you will find!
Thanks for all the welcome messages. I signed up for MOC, and we'll see how that goes. It's terribly cold here in north Texas. 19 degrees at 8am, with wind chill taking it down to 1! I don't know that I'll leave the house all day. I think I need to work on a signature file and look for picture opportunities for today.
Welcome, Elsi! Seems we have some things in common... I also have grown children (5 of them, and two still at home) and grandchildren (4 plus one on the way). I love to read, read, read! And I work on genealogy as well! I hope you'll join in the Month of Challenges! I did the same thing as you... joined, but didn't really do much. Took a two year hiatus from scrapping, and now I'm back at it! Welcome!

Welcome officially to the forum! I think you will fit in just perfectly here! We all obviously are obsessed with scrapping, but we also have a bunch of readers here too!
