i'm home got home last night from my business trip but i'm feeling a little lost! how is everybody? what's everyone's plans for the next few days?
You were gone? Kidding! Welcome back! I'm currently wondering how I'm getting to work today, since our driveway and street are literally thick sheets of ice. I think John needs to crawl out of bed soon and haul me in!
Glad you're home safe and sound, Lauren! My plans for the next few days are working, doing some baking and wrapping gifts and getting the last minute prep work done for Christmas.... I have to work through the holidays so I have to make sure everything is done.
Lauren - Glad you made it home! Julie - that sounds scary, be careful! I am working the next couple of days, but would love to have a day off. There are lots and lots of things still on my to do list but it is getting smaller.
Welcome back sweety! We have a busy week left here. Tomorrow we have to do some grocery shopping and go get our tree... LMAO Yes we waited this long. It almost seems pointless but Lily REALLY wants one so we are giving and just gonna get a fake one. Friday is date night, mom is watching all four kids. Cant wait! We are going to dinner and finishing up some shopping together and Saturday is a Xmas party.
Welcome back Lauren! I want to finish up my baking this week. I'm about half way through my list. It doesn't help that the puppy chow gets eaten before I can hide it in the freezer! I also want to get the presents wrapped because after Friday I really don't have much kid free time to get it done.

my eldest comes home from college break today. i have one package to pick up from the post office to wrap then i'm all done with that. today i want to go out to yankee candle to get some pine smells for my fake tree (sarah! i can't believe y'all don't have your tree yet! ) and to target for these totally addictive-crack-like-holiday cookies they sell. i still need to send out my christmas cards and bake. hmm. i wonder if people will get their cards before christmas? oh well. i'm just happy to be home and being able to embrace the holidays.
Welcome back, Lauren!! YAY for your eldest coming home today! I haven't sent out my cards yet either--eek! Still waiting for them to arrive from the printer. Ah well. And I looove pine smelly candles! I'm in the midst of "baking week" and today I'm going to be attempting Bakerella's cake pops. So hoping I don't totally botch them. Also fighting off another cold. Or maybe it's just the same one morphed into a nasty sore throat. Either way I say "be gone germies!!!" And if all goes to plan I'll be getting my scrap on later too too.
Hiya, Lauren! Glad you made it back safe and sound. I'm in the middle of a crappy week at work that has me sneaking online even though the examiners that are here could bust me at any time. I have the afternoon off tomorrow to finish up my shopping. I'm just hoping I can get it all done. Camden's birthday party is Saturday (Being due in December was fantastic prior planning on our part I mean who has a baby 2 weeks before Christmas! ) and then it's wrapping and baking and we're going to try to squeeze in a mommy-daughter trip to see the Nutcracker. Right now, I'm really wishing I hadn't gone back to work full time. Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely thankful that I have a job, but i do miss having time for the fun stuff of the season.
it's okay leslie. my daughter's bday is november 9th, my son's bday is tomorrow, dec 17th, and mine is jan 8th. go figure. and. hey. the refrigerator is empty. what is up w/ that????
well i couldn't find them - they are all sold out. it was a frosted cookie that target made themselves. man am i bummed.

Yay, your back As far as plans, nothing to special. Plan on doing some baking. Today is my son's last day of school for Christmas break and my husbands last day of work till Jan because they closed down the mill for a couple weeks. Its nice to have him off but I miss the money LOL Saturday we have a Christmas party to go to. It will be the first time going out for supper and being without kids since Tyson was born in May, so I am looking forward to that.
