i'm here - gonna dig thru templates and pics and see what i can do - i always struggle with placement of vertical and horizontal pics on same page, so thankful that designers like Liz can take care of that for me!

Took the twist -- flower or leaves. Staples are hiding on the word tags.

I just edited this because I read the twist instructions wrong. Here it is with a flower.

Hope I'm in time. Used the twist - no paint.

So I had a suuuuper uncooperative EHD, hence it took me a lot longer than it should have to get this page done. Still. I think it's super pretty. Many more pages to scrap from this amazing attraction.
(My "or" was on journalling in two directions.)

i think i used my twist to get out of sideways journalling (with my word strips) but the date's sideways so anyway - my leaves are on the sticker flower and pp; and i think i ended up picking a template from my stash that has been retired cos i can't find it in the shop to link (oops!)

Ugh! Was all ready to save and post in time for the $10 entry when one kid came home with a black eye followed by the other kid with a girlfriend! Can't wait for school to start!!!

Oh and I used the twist to get rid of the flower!

Well, this has been interesting. I read the directions wrong and my first layout had the title and journaling going the wrong direction. I tried to keep the overall page the same with just an adjustment on the text and it just didn't work. SO I did use the twist and kept the journaling going horizontally instead of vertically. Both the versions are in the gallery. But this is the one I'm entering into the challenge.

This little scrap break was very nice. Thank you for the inspiration.

Here is my take. I hope I understood everything correctly.

I chose #2 for the twist.
I have to say I think I was a little lost with the "vertical/sideways" expression. I have a few different things in there so I hope at least one of them will be the right orientation lol lol

    1. Photo(s) in Portrait Orientation AND Photo(s) in Landscape Orientation.
    2. Piece(s) of Tape OR Staple(s).
    3. Flower(s) AND Leaf/sprig(s).
    4. Title in Vertical/sideways in Orientation AND Journaling in Vertical/sideways Orientation (dates, locations and sub-titles can count as your journaling).
    5. Button(s) AND Paint Splatter(s).
