    Hello scrappers,

Welcome to our first Visual Slow Scrap Live in Adobe Connect. It's Kayla aka keepscrappin here to give you ten ways to get terrific titles. I tend to get stuck in a rut and do the same thing over and over again. I decided to take a look through my gallery and list some of the different ways I've used titles. Some would fit into more than one category, but you get the picture. I figure if I have a list of ideas to refer too, then I'll be able to add some more variety to my titles. I think it will be especially helpful when I have scrapper's block. I hope you find this list useful too.

    TEN WAYS TO TERRIFIC TITLES
    1. Add your title as part of a cluster.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    2. Use a mixed title. A mixed title is one that is made from different things. There are several combinations available for mixed titles.
    • an alpha and a font, or a word art/strip
    • 2 or more alphas, word art/strips, fonts, etc
    • multiple colors of the same alpha, font, etc
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    3. Use your title as part of the layout design.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    4. Turn your title. It can go vertical, diagonal, sideways... you name it. Titles can do whatever you want them to do.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    5. Combine your title with your journaling.
    [IMG] [IMG]

    6. Use Cut out templates and/or styles.
    [IMG] [IMG]

    7. Make your title LARGE AND IN CHARGE!
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    8. Put your title right on a photo.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    9. Give your title a place to rest, so it's grounded and not floating away.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    10. Use a journal card for your title.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    SLOW SCRAP INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Create a layout using ONE of the title examples from the above list. You can do your layout in any style you'd like, but please mention which example you used when you post your LO here.
    2. Be sure to link us up to your layout (copy and paste the Share BB Code located on the right in the gallery) so we can all go leave a little love as well.

This is a slow scrap so you have 24 hours to complete your LO. You must have your page posted here by: 10 pm EDT on June 22, 2017 to qualify! Please remember that your layout must comply with our gallery rule of 50% TLP products. (Freebies and items not in the store, but from current TLP designers are allowed).

I will be PMing all the eligible scrappers their participation prize from this thread after the deadline. I can't wait to see all the terrific titles y'all come up with!

Thanks for the fun SS and tips. I used #8, putting the title on the photo, and #10, using a journal card. Here's mine:

Fantastic ideas, so sorry I missed the chat, but apparently I dozed off on my recliner...
I would classify mine as a mixed title, #2.

Mostly Large and in Charge title. When I was working on the ALBau template layout today, I saw that word art and KNEW I wanted to use it. ASAP. Thanks for this challenge which I was very sorry to miss. :-(

I loved this! I used the cluster technique and also the mixed alpha by changing the hue/saturation on the letters.

Oh my goodness! You gals have blown me away with your titles! They look AMAZING! Thanks so much for participating. I've been out all day, but hope to be able to get over to the gallery and love on these a little tonight and finish up tomorrow. Check your PMs on Friday for your participation prizes. I'm exhausted tonight so hopefully I'll be able to hit the sack in a bit.
