My hubby & I were up all night with our 5 yr old doing nebulizer treatments & inhalers. Jeremy took him to his dr this morning & they said he could go by ambulance or drive fast to Sacred Heart childrens hospital ER. Nothing like getting that phone call at work! I racwd straight here! He almost was admitted to picu but is now stabl-ish at this point. We are staying the night at the least. He's had 2 steroid shots plus 10-12 albuterol treatments to get to this point but the Dr's think he might crash again if we go home. Now he is all roided up & hungry! We would love your prayers & "easy breathing" wishes!
oh dear! it's so distressful to see a child in distress, especially your own! sending you all LOTS of positive easy breathing wishes!!
oh dear... that is so scary, especially when it's your child. Sending hugs and prayers your way. Hang in there Mama. *HUGS*
I'll be praying for your little guy and you and your husband. Hope this night helps him heal enough to go home soon.
Best wishes, we have done the same trip a couple of times and it is awful... hope the breathing comes much easier now. xx
Dang it!!! This is a stubborn flare up to still not come around after all that medication. Sending prayers!! Keep us updated!! Hugs!! We never had to admit, but we've done the whole morning in the dr office getting breathing treatments when my 19 year old was little. How scary!! Glad he's getting treatment! More hugs!!
So sorry to hear about your little guy. We've been there with several of our daughters and it's never easy, even if you are a seasoned pro. Will be thinking good thoughts for you and your little guy.
