Hi everyone! I'm back with another slow scrap! We'll be starting with a chat in just a few minutes - from 2:00 - 2:30 eastern. I'll post the scrap instructions in this thread and you will have 24 hours from the end of the chat to complete your page. Please post your page in the speed scrap gallery and then link it up in this thread so I can track participants and send you a participation prize woohoo!
Thanks for joining in the slow scrap! You have 24 hours to complete your page (i.e., until 2:30 PM Eastern 10/3) - have fun and i can't wait to see your pages! please post your page in the speed scrap gallery and then link it up here. note: i allow one "cheat" - in case you just can't make one of the instructions work. just let me know what it is when you post your page in this thread. 1) select ONE photo, crop it into a rectangular shape, and place it in the center of your page. layer it on top of a light, neutral background paper. 2) select a patterned paper and have it run vertically down the center of the page (under the picture) in a long rectangular shape. select a different patterned paper and create a thinner vertical stripe on top of the first one. (also under the picture). 3) layer some word art or journal cards on top of the papers, above and below the picture. 4) use some paper(s) as a mat under the photo, or use a frame. 5) put some paint on the page to create a little grunge. place some elements on the page - scatter some small elements anywhere you want, and place some near the picture. 6) add a little journaling to the page, and a title if wanted. that's it! thanks for joining in!
COLLAB: Of Wishes, Hopes & Dreams part one by Lilypad Collabs https://the-lilypad.com/store/COLLAB-Of-Wishes-Hopes-and-Dreams-part-one.html
My cheat was two photos instead of one. And I got a little carried away with the instructions to layer, paint and scatter. But the collab kit is just luscious and I couldn't resist.
I had so much fun with this one! Great to get out of my comfort zone of pocket pages! https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/grandpa.268456/ I used the kit Grandpa from Just Jaimee
