It's Red and Green, but it's not Christmas... It's Father's Day. My Dad is so embarasing. by Juliestcyr posted Jun 20, 2016 at 3:52 AM
I hope this is right. Stuck with the blue/orange theme. I'm not very good when I'm limited to colors.
Blue and orange spoke to me as well. It's wonderful to see all the different tones of this colour combination!
Fuschia and lime green are two of my favorite colors I made the scatter light blue for an accent, hope that is okay.
When I was deciding which pair of colors to use and considered purple and yellow, I remembered those, along with white, were the colors of my wedding flowers. Next month my husband and I celebrate 20 years of marriage, so collecting these photos into a collage is a great idea. I'm feeling unsure about the amount of color I used though, now that I've re-read the challenge. I forgot one color is supposed to be dominant, one an accent; mine is too balanced. I might be editing this one.
Here is my page. I went yellow/purple. And....here is my redo because I was really really not happy with the one above.
I've been toying around with these photos and a journal entry from this trip, but wasn't happy with it. Your challenge helped focus me, so thank you! My goal was to use the red from the Jersey Boys logo, paired with its complementary green, but not wind up with a Christmas feel to the page. Not sure if I did it, but I'm happy with the results. NOTE: The background paper from Just Jaimee's Dear Mom kit and is super colorful, so I desaturated on every channel except red and green and this was the result. Kinda cool!
