If you could have a kit that would just perfectly sum up your life, what would it be called? Mine would be called, "Stomp, Stomp, Eyeroll" and it would be about having 8 & 11 year-old daughters. I refuse to use the word "tween" because it just seems to justify all the behaviour.
Taking care of two senior dogs that are having issues. "Geriatric Home for Wayward Dogs". It's so hard to watch them get old.
"Life is a roller coaster" or adventure. Needs good days, bad days and you've got to be kidding, again?
"You're Grounded...Again" - the mom of a way too adventurous 6 year old. I must say, I really like a lot of these kit title! They are making me giggle!
"I hate summer" LOL. I don't hate it that much, but I don't really like being too hot and sweaty and having hayfever, thanks very much! It just makes me grumpy, and here in the UK everyone else is like 'ooh what a lovely day' as soon as the temperature goes over 18c. I'm thinking 'NO, actually I'd rather it was raining so I wouldn't feel guilty about sitting indoors with a good book instead of having to do the gardening...' Actually, 'Mrs Grumpy' would probably be a good kit for me right now...
I think mine is "It's Almost Summer, Keep Chugging Along!" Summer... dreams of a relaxed schedule, no homework, beach, sun, outside..... School ends 6/22, which seems SO FAR AWAY!
Tethered 24/7 to two 3 month old Boston Terrier puppies! Hey, I feel better already just saying it… but seriously, they are sucking the life out of this old lady!
My title is "Decisions, Decisions." We are building a new home and there are just too many choices for my brain to process - and then hope it all comes together in a pleasing way!
Right now, my life is pretty darn good, so..."5 Years From Now, This Won't Really Matter". Once you are through with raising children, and are retired, life becomes fairly easy.
as a mom of a 12 year old boy, I could totally get behind this kit. maybe it could be alternatively titled "way too much attitude" or even "oy vey" lol others could be "breathe in, breathe out," "this too shall pass," "I love my son, I love my son," "LAWD, HELP MEH!!"
I am loving all of these too- really awesome ideas and fun to read. What a great thread! Mine would definitely have to be something about living with my teens too. Not that I feel old but more annoyed. they are destroying my home room by room. It's like their mess and destruction has migrated from their rooms and bathroom and has begun to invade the rest of my house. I can't keep up. And they aren't even done with school yet. One more week! What will the summer bring? I never thought the gigantic messes they could make as toddlers could be out done but living with teens is a a whole other level of scary.
