This is my grandmother's family. I found the picture on Ancestry dot com. Very little is known about my dad's side of the family, so finding this picture was like hitting the lottery. My grandmother is sitting on her father's lap. I scraplifted my LO seen here - Kit used is Our Legacy by Little Butterfly Wings.
This was a great challenge! I used this layout for inspiration. It has all my favorite things. Red/White/Black and a Scrapping with Liz template, LOL! And here is my new layout:
I really liked the look of the LO I created for the "Pocket Page" challenge and, since I had more skating pictures to scrap, I decided to scraplift that page: Here is the result:
I thought the big photo and title, with a little "scene" were fun, so I took them from this page and lifted it to make this page
Inspiration for this challenge comes from two of the MOC4 challenges: mostly from wanting to use Sara Gleason's template but without constrictions, but also from the photography challenge. I’ve screened the background on Sasha’s photo, not for a double exposure, but so I could add text on top and have it stand out. The originals that I've scraplifted inspiration from: And the new layout:
This is one of my all time favourite LOs so I thought I'd have a go at recreating it. I think it turned out quite well. I kept as true to the original as possible including the 'love' theme. my scraplift
This was a fun challenge! I scraplifted my "Riding the Carousel" layout. I always liked the photo arrangement here. Here is my new layout. The photos are my other niece riding a different carousel. LOL As I said I really liked the arrangement of the photos so I kept that from the original, but changed up some of the other aspects.
This page was made for a Pink Reptile Designs Blog Challenge. The theme was to scrap a hard time/emotion. I am going to use that as my inspiration for a new layout. I have a photo I have wanted to scrap for a while but my grandson is NOT happy in it. So this is the perfect time. Original layout: New layout:
I like the nautical theme and waves, like these layouts: Down The Lane #2 by Vrielinkie posted May 26, 2014 at 8:48 PM <3 Brooklyn <3 by Vrielinkie posted May 12, 2014 at 5:49 PM So I made this page, using the waves: You Float My Boat by Vrielinkie posted Feb 9, 2016 at 3:19 PM
I'm a huge fan of paint borders and splatters these days. This page is quite nice but doesn't quite suit my current style. i will keep the photo and redo the rest. Old Page: New Page:
Here's the layout I picked to scraplift. Here's the new layout. By adding the whole family, this will now be a double-page spread in an album.
