Well I've followed a diet regime for years so am ideal weight but could do with toning up so my friend asked me to join gym with her !!! I am an exercise newbie and never set foot inside a gym till this week,went Monday did machines went Tuesday did a pure tone ladies class which I struggled a bit to keep up but tried anyway yesterday we did pure legs bums and tums,omg today my thighs hurt so bad lol but I will not give up
I think the best thing, especially if you've never done much exercise, is to go slowly, step by step... don't do too much but be persistent
Yes, you MUST have AT LEAST ONE REST day. I would say more than that if you are just starting. Keep increasing your days and workouts with time. Do NOT over do it! PLUS, YOU CAN DO THIS! Great job so far!
go go go! i went for my first run in five months on thursday and currently can. not. walk. my calf muscles are lopsided, or i walk funny or something, because my left calf is SO SORE!!!
The 2nd day is usually the sorest, but you will make great strides quickly if you just stick with it. I usually find it helpful to go for a walk to loosen it all up when I'm really sore. Hang in there!
You can do it! I only took a month off from working out and I'm definitely paying for it this week! Don't give up!
