I love looking at everyone's pages! I was inspired by the tree and remembered something I wanted to journal about.
Great challenge . . . I went through my images for a blue/yellow landscape and found one, but I had so much fun with the watercolor filter on photoshop that I had to watercolor several images . . . so that was my ultimate inspiration I guess!
My Inspiration was the Warm Color of the leaves looking up to the blue sky which immediately made me feel "Gratitude" to the Creator for this beautiful life.
This was a great challenge, Rachel! Thank you! Come take a walk with me through my inspiration thought process ... The tree in the painting looks like a silver birch or a white poplar to me. And these kinds of trees grow in Ontario. (I also started singing "Land of the silver birch, home of the beaver, where still the mighty moose wanders at will ... boom diddy ah-da," which I think all Canadian kids are required to learn, or maybe it was a Girl Guide thing!) I love Ontario & I love exploring new places in the province. So, I decided to make a collage in the shape of Ontario of all the new places we visited this year ... yes, including an asparagus farm! (This farm makes everything from asparagus soap to asparagus corn chips!)
I love that the painting felt heavy on one side so I placed all of my stuff on one side flowing from top to bottom. I also loved the leaves, the tree and the yellow. I used triangles to represent the tree and the gorgeous yellow leaves in the kit. Thank you for the creative challenge!
I was inspired by the colors and the trees. I started out to make trees and do a quote about trees, but it became this. The jagged lines going up and down are the trunks and the yellow is the trees and the blue, the sky. Thanks for a fun inspiration! Direct link
This ATC came from the fact that the original piece of art seemed like a blurry photo. The text is a short poem written by me in modified Haiku form. A box blur has been applied so no, you do not have to go to the eye doctor! Used They Keep Falling by Allison Pennington
Inspired by the art - made a sketch of a photo and blended it into the background. Also inspired by the fall theme!
