JANUARY 2: Blending Mode Technique Challenge

Since I am desperately trying to get caught on up on some past years with Project Life I decided to try and incorporate my blending into
my project life page. This was my first attempt at using this technique. Wowsers!! So fun! And the possibilities are endless!! Thanks for this challenge!

I blended several of the smaller cards with confetti elements and my main date card is a card blended with a background paper, a date brush blended into the card and paint blended in somewhere in all the layers.

Blending is so useful in Art Journaling. I Love it
In my page I blended the tree, the background (2 papers and a lot of paints) and the word art on the tree. After blending the word-art, I applied a shadow to make it more "visible"

 

I love using blend modes. I used 1-2 blend modes on the background papers, the large image, 2 wordart and paint.

 

Mine: papers, splatter, ribbon and WA are blending on the picture!

 

Thanks for the great challenge! I blended two layers of paint and the silver sprinkles.

 

I blended my background papers, a couple paint splatters, and the photo

 

I blended the background, the edge, the paint, and all but one of the strips.

I loved today's challenge and couldn't help myself from using Sissy Sparrows new kit, too.

 

This was a tough one for me. I used blending on two background papers, some of the paint, and the Summer frame.

This was a fun challenge. I never blended anything before, but I will be sure to do it a little more often now.
Anyways, one of my goals for the year is to keep a journal. Some of my entries I'm going to scrap and print. This is the title page for my journal:



Blended pretty much everything on the page except the word art and the text.

I have changed the blending mode on the map (found on the internet, I forgot where), the hearts, the paints and the word arts.
