Hi All, Later this month, I will be writing a blog post about "Unsung Hero" products-- you know… the ones you might not immediately notice in the store but when you opened them you realized that they were positively FANTASTIC!? I have some in mind but I'd love to tap this fab community for your great contributions. If you've got some suggestions for these kits, please share them in this thread, along with an explanation about what they're so unexpectedly great. I appreciate your ideas! For instance, I love Sara Gleason's "The When" daters. There are a multitude of backgrounds and brushes so you can create all different kinds of styles and colors.
Rachel Young's Good Foundations The Whites. I go back to these over and over. Amazing clean white papers can find a place on any layout.
Kaye's Make it Messy. This was my first foray into a paint pack and I love how there always seems to be just the right touch of paint or the perfect stamp for so many of the projects that I create.
It is SOOOOO a good thing I already have all these 3 products in my stash. O'wise I'll be burning another big hole in my cc. * whEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEw *
What a great thread idea! There are quite a few things I use repeatedly because they are beyond awesome, but the first one that immediately pops into mind are Laurie Ann's essential stitches. I LOVE these stitches! Oh, One Little Bird's Shadow Like Me! I think I use her shadows on every.single.layout.
sheesh! there are about a million! i'm not sure where to begin. i'll see if there are a few that really stand out!
for starters, every single one of Karah Fredrick's Finishing Touches packs... Here's all of them in the shop so you can see which one(s) might work best for you... they're all so great!!
Oh you all ROCK!! Thank you for taking the time to recommend some great products. Please keep 'em coming!
Valorie Wibbens - A Bit Worn N. 7 I didn't realize how flexible they were when I bought them. They can be used with any paper and then blended.
this is a great thread- I have several of these products- and really have been needing some plain white paper- so thanks for sharing! Here is one of my go-to's - unsung hero indeed!
I use these all the time, especially on text. I love circle stitches, and these are a favorite. Ok, so I love stitching in general. I love Amy's Blanc Stitches. They're my favorite. As for paint... these two are my favorites. Gesso It! from Pink Reptile Designs and Amy's A Perfect Amount of Mess (I love all 4 versions, but 2 is my favorite)
