Lindzee, I love your page!!!! The only thing I would change is that on the top card that your are pulling out the shadow to the right, I would have pulled the shadow in (to the left) because if I am not mistaken your global shadow is like a 45degrees.

What do you use? Maybe you can share with the rest, just in case they are using the same software.

Thanks for the tuto Dalis. I will try this technique but I think, I should adapt it for my software. I use the GIMP (like Buzinette)

Christelle, that looks really good, now remember just a bit of shadow is better than too much shadow. Are you using a shadow in black? I usually tend to do a dark brown but sometimes even grabbed a darker color than your paper. In this case I would do like a navy blue color and keep it a tad lighter, then tend to look more real. (btw. I love that pic too!)

thanks for that Dalis. I'll have to try that. I tried reducing the opacity of the shadow layer but it was looking a bit weird, I just couldn't get it right. I'll try the navy. :-)

just redone it; I'm much happier with the result (even if I might have reduced the opacity a bit too much!!). Thanks Dalis, you're a little angel ;-)

It looks a lot better, you could go a bit darker. I find that sometimes the color of my shadows are not "working" and then I change them to a darker color of whatever they are on top of. It helps me a lot. Also, I find that doing my shadows with a blending mode of "linear burn" it's a lot easier to lower the opacity and not looking so "light". (I can't remember what software you use and if you can change this).
