I have a neurological condition now (as if all the other health condition weren't enough, I have been inside the MRI twice) is not lazyness that makes me forget about things...I put stiuff in the calemndar but then forget to look in the calendar, losse track of things even when talking to people but anyway...
it was fun

Oh boy now I feel old... Agnes calling me Aunty! Ha ha... Agnes I bet you are wonderful in person ... Generally we are not far off from the persona behind the keyboard! I have met a friend from my orig scrap booking group and it was the best time meeting in person... Even my friend from Australia that I met (same place) over Skype... You are confident and fun Agnes on line and I am very sure in person!

 

No Christa, Auntie thing is very common in Singapore - even I am being called Auntie here by the young and younger (yes, we're not old!) ones

Ok, THIS I have to interrupt ...

I called whoever UNCLE or AUNTIE when they are doing the what-the-heck-thingy.

So if my 15yo son is too naggy, it's "Hello Uncle ..."
If my 27yo male mgr asked a WTH qtn, it's "Hello Uncle ..."
Likewise if you're older than me. But it's more effective when you're younger than me.

But again, it is an Asian culture to address our elderly "Auntie" & "Uncle" ... be it in English or the native/local language.

Ok, back to the meeting session. Let me muster enough calm & courage before I approached Mye about it. Altho I'm tempted to meet her this coming wkend. It's a SOOOOOPER LOOONNG holiday over here.
