Good morning everyone! I blogged on the Lilypad blog today about Month In Review scrapbooking. I make pages like this every month. You can check out my blog post here: https://the-lilypad.com/blog/month-in-review-scrapbooking/
Thanks for sharing this, Christine.. I love the idea of using bullet points to sum up a month of activities!
LOVE this idea!! Unfortunately, I don't know who would care about what I've done during the month, and if I did it for the dogs, those bullets would be pretty repetitive - ate, slept, ran, wrestled, slept, ate ... Maybe a "threw up at 2 a.m." thrown in there here and there!
Aw Julie - YOU would care, LOL. I don't have kids either, but I still really enjoy looking at my month-in-review layouts and all the activities from the month. Noodle doesn't care, but there are a few photos and snippets about him.
LOL! True. I just never put that much effort into something that's just for me I had a blog once, and I enjoyed writing on it, but I never kept it up since it didn't get read
I'm going to give this a whirl this year! I am totally inspired by your lists ans photo collage, Christine! I'm going to do a hybrid of your idea and PL. Snapping photos and keeping a running list on my iPhone and then I'm planning to use some PL supplies (Val's templates, Kates Doodles, and any other goodies that inspire me from TLP) to do a two page spread per month. I enjoyed the 2012 review challenge and plan to keep going in that style. Julie - I don't have kids or even a dog right now (but will again!) but I am still finding it interesting. I love the layouts of your pooches! Never too many!
For the year I used Impact font. Typed it out first, then created an outline stroke and deleted the actual type. For the month it is an Ali Edwards brush called Months and Days or something like that.
You my dear are simply a ROCK STAR! You are so creative and love this! Now if only I could convince you to do mine as well.
Anyone noticed that One Little Bird has 12x12 and 8.5x11 templates in the shop now for doing Month In Review pages??! Yay! https://the-lilypad.com/store/In-Review-8.5-x-11.html https://the-lilypad.com/store/In-Review-12x12.html
I'm weird about having SO many little photos all together like this so I was a bit apprehensive, but I love how it turned out. Such a quick way to pull together all the highlights of a month
