We'd like to go ahead and get the book selections posted for the next few months. This poll is for our January selection. That way if you can't join us this month, you can get ahead for 2013...wow...did I really just type 2013??!

Here are the five choices. Please vote for one:

    2. War Brides by Helen Bryan

    3. The Light Between Oceans
    by M.L. Stedman

    4. The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera

    5. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Schaffer and Annie Barrows

I already read The Book Thief and the The Guernsey book and they are both fabulous books. If they are picked, I'll probably read them again. Everyone should read them. :)

Okay this is bugging me... I've been reading about the other books here to decide which one to vote for... book #3 sounds SO familiar to me and I know I've read another book with a VERY similar storyline, but I can't think for the life of me what book that was and I know it wasn't this one. LOL! Good grief. It's going to bug me until I figure it out... :)

I think we'll use the top two for club selections. We'll probably use the runner up for March. :)

I just borrowed "The Book Theif" from my digital library... put a hold on "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" - going to look into borrowing the other titles from the physical library. :)
