I had a really boring dinner. chicken noodle soup + carrots and peas added (because it was a LAME chicken noodle soup. I'm not sure there was even any chicken). What did you have?
Sushi here too. It's my 5 yo's favorite, so I took her out for dinner since DH and DD1 were on a school trip today.
Beef brisket with all kinds of potato salad & pasta salad, beans and lots of wedding cake! Oh....and a couple of really cold brewskis! Love going to weddings!
I've never had sushi.. it scares me. lol. bf took me to a japanese steak house for my bday and we didnt even have anything remotely close to sushi
I kissed the frog! But I also had an awesome omelet for dinner - with mushrooms, spinach and feta. Yummy!
It's Cinco de Mayo people...why is no one grubbin on some Mexican food?!?! (though sushi does sound delish!) We had Chicken Tacos, from scratch Spanish rice and root beer float popsicles for desert.
I've never had sushi either. One of these days, I'll get brave enough. It was leftovers for dinner here, so I had grilled chicken with roasted potatoes and broccoli. Yum.
3 I mentioned this in the other thread, but DH made steak quesadillas for Cinco de Mayo, with plenty of pico and guacamole! Yum!
A bagel with cream cheese since I was full from the nachos. Don't be jealous too long of what I'm eating, La. I bought salad to bring to work for lunch and am planning on making nutritious shakes for breakfast, so this was my last 'pigout' weekend.
Pizza (mmmm fresh mozzarella). We didn't hit a Mexican joint because we thought it would be muy loco tonight.
Homemade mac & cheese casserole including a from-scratch cheese sauce I learned to make years ago from watching Martha Stewart [it's a good thing] - she did it stove top, but I do it in the microwave and it comes out perfectly every single time! Then topped with breadcrumbs and Hungarian paprika, and baked until nicely browned. Then we serve that with tomatoes side. Yum!
Cinco de Mayo food here! My sister in law hit up the local Mexican meat market and we grubbed on carne asada, pollo asada & chorizo asado tacos with Mexican rice and beans and fresh tortillas ... it was delicious! And I got an awesome video of my 11 year old doing a Mexican hat dance that I will be showing at his wedding someday.
My boyfriend and I celebrate Cinco de Mayo here with carne asada mexican rice and beans with homemade flour tortillas and salsa with avocado it was delicious !!
