Oh I totally don't know! We put our tree last year on december 24th LOL but this was too late! This year... perhaps on the 1st. advent weekend? Don't know what my bf would say?! He hate it when it's too early .
Ours usually goes up the first or second weekend of December and usually comes down after New Years... although the one year on boxing day, my youngest who was only just over a year old at the time decided to pull the tree down and so we decided to put it back up and then my cat knocked it over so we just decided to put it away right then and there....
We usually do ours the first weekend of December and I can't wait as it will be our first Christmas in our new house
We do it after Thanksgiving - usually the few days after but we've been known to wait another week, too. It goes down close to New Year's day.
We usually do it the weekend after Thanksgiving. I just can't seem to get in the Christmas spirit until Thanksgiving is over. This year, I will be extra motivated to get it up early since my DD's Girl Scout troop is having their Christmas party at my house on Dec. 2nd!
Ours usually goes up on December 23 and comes down again on January 6. We start putting up decorations much earlier, though - especially lights because it's so dark around here this time of year. I'm hoping by the first weekend of Advent, we will have Christmas lights in all our windows. We are approaching the darkest time of the year, so it really makes a difference to have a lot of lights
usually the weekend after thanksgiving. i refuse to overlook thanksgiving with christmas. both are very special holidays to me. although i do admit rummaging slowly through the chrismtas aisles at the stores. LOL
I am hoping to get ours up the day after Thanksgiving. All of my children, my grandson and my parents will be here so I really want to do it with us all together. We may just want to be fat and lazy and eat leftovers though. I have a feeling no one will be gung ho to do it like me. If we don't do it then, then I will get it up the following week.
