HI Everyone! I'm here today with your monthly photography challenge. This one is going to be very "you." It will be very flexible, and hopefully fun for you to create your page! The challenge will be a little different, but very open to interpretation. The first letter of my name is J. My photo, in my layout below, has to represent a word that starts with that letter J. I chose Joy. A pretty simple word, but it really does bring me joy - my friends, me, summer, ladies night. My photo is full of smiles, and reminds me to enjoy the little moments hanging out with friends. Be friendly, and be happy. Challenge Rules: 1. So, use the first letter of your first name. 2. Using that letter, choose a word, and then find a photo that represents that word. Notes: If you want to go a step further, optional - use the word as part of your title. This is not required. I would also love to know what word you chose. For J, I could have used Jovial, Jiggly, Jinxed, Jesting, Jeweled, Juicy, Jet, Jumbo, and so many more. I can't wait to see what you create! Have fun scrapping! As always: your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the June Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges' the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
What a great challenge!! So many cool words start with M... now to ponder... I love my word, but not too happy with the final result, I expected the water to make the blues pop, but it doesn't. The waters in Alaska are like a deep teal color. Anyway, wanted to use this new collection which I love, Art Crush #63. This was a totally majestic trip anyhow!
OMG, Jenn, you must be Joking! LOL! What can I find for O... ostentatious, observative, or oncology... let me think In the end, it's Orchids
I am trying to find something to take a photo of, as I assume we are supposed to take a new one for a photo challenge?.. If we can use something we "prepared earlier and keeping in the bushes just for the occasion", I could whip out something Outstanding or opalescent no problem.
I think that's what they used to do in the 70s on TV, and here's what I prepared earlier... on all the cooking and crafts shows around the world, and here's the piano in the bushes... or am I confused and alone in this (false?) memory...
L is for Leader! Thank you for this mind-stretching challenge. It was fun, and even more important to me, my grandson will love this page.
