Just wanted to share this little flip calendar that I made using Memory Pockets Monthly, Emerge and Designed by Soco, Hello 2023 - Calendar Cards. My plan is to decorate each month's calendar with embellishments from the Memory Pockets Monthly kit as it is released. This was a relatively simple project. 1. I printed out the calendar pages, decorated the January calendar with flowers and a butterfly from MPM Emerge. 2. the "stand" is made of a sheet of cardboard. It is just slightly wider than the calendar but quite a bit longer. The bottom part of the carboard is folded under and back to make the base and a "kickstand" is cut from the back that attaches to the base and supports the calendar. Here is an image of the back of the cardboard, cut and folded. I roughly followed a video I found on you tube by "being me." Note that the part the calendar attaches to is facing the table in the photo. I then covered the stand with black card stock and glued the kickstand to the base. I punched holes in the stand and in the calendar pages and attached them with binder rings. Easy, peasy and so inexpensive for a beautiful desk calendar. "
This is fabulous. Side bar---you will so laugh at me... I decided to try out 2 other planner types. I might have this figured out soon. LOL.
Adding my most recent calendar page for March. This project is fun and low stress. Made with Memory Pockets Monthly, Current and Designed by Soco, Hello 2023 - Calendar Cards
This seriously is perfect Dawn. I love the fact that you can put it on your desk. I think I may do this next year rather than my planner which is harder to pull out every time I want to look at it.
