NBK-Design border challenge March 2023

Hi all, it's CT Member Sonja here with this months' challenge.

I love borders because they add that little extra on a page. A border is made up of different elements placed on or close to an edge. You can use brushes, paintstrokes and all sorts of elements to create your border. I love tucking my picture into the border as well, but this is not a requirement for this challenge.

Borders need to be placed along an edge of your layout. This can be at the top top, bottom or right or left side. I like my borders to overlap the edge but you can also place your border near a edge so you can see all of it.

For this challenge, the border must overlap one edge of your layout and must be along one side only - no corner borders please.
The border must fill at least 90% of the side, from edge to edge.
You may use any theme you wish but do include at least 1 photo.

Here is my page. I decided to use the Art Crush 59 for this challenge, since the color palette went so well with the picture I wanted to use. I took masks from the templates and used those as well for my border.



You can use your border on a standard layout, but it can also be used on a art journal page. And since you all know, I totally adore journaling, I used my border design for an art journal page as well. just to show you that you can use a border in more ways then one.



GENERAL RULES

• This challenge runs from March 1, 2023 until March 31, 2023.
• You must use 100% NBK-Design Products.
• Post your layout in the NBK-Design Gallery and in this forum and link your layout to the gallery.
• Your layout can not be used for more than one challenge.
• ONE lucky scrapper will be randomly chosen to win a $8 coupon to the NBK-Design store.
