Hello and welcome to the February photography challenge! This month I'd like you to photograph your weather right now. Things in my area are quite unusual with so much more rain and warmer days than we usually have. Snow, which I happen to love and enjoy this time of year, has been in extremely short supply! And I know all around the world we are all experiencing different seasons and weather patterns. So show me what it is like right now where you live. Take a photo of your current weather situation - outside your door, window, around your home, or wherever you'd like to capture the weather you are experiencing right now and use that photo on your layout this month. Here is the photo I took for this challenge and the layout I made using it: Credits: Paislee Press Sunny Days Ahead, Rainy Days, Cozy Winter & Cozy Winter Stamps; Just Jaimee April 21 Storyteller Sarcasm, Snippets + Paint; Allison Pennington 20 Questions Dyno-Mite I hope you enjoy this month's photography challenge and create a layout that you love with your new image! I can't wait to see what types of weather we are all experiencing right now around the globe! Reminder: As always, please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the February Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I am excited to see your pages! Have fun!
Haha, I could just post a gray piece of paper and claim it was a photo. No one would notice the difference from an actual photo of the weather here! LOL
My first ever layout using Affinity Designer 2 - I'm trying to learn a new program, so I don't have to lug my oversized laptop everywhere & I can scrap on my iPad. I think it came out OK, considering... I could NOT figure out how to shadow the staples, so they look a bit off. Either way... I did it! Squeeeeee, slowly but surely I will attempt to learn this program... We had a rare clear day today in the PNW
It has been a warm winter so far, but lots of rainy days. This week it is supposed to rain all week and it got cold (for Alabama.) The high today was 39 F.
Thank you for the fun challenge! I'm so envious of the scrappers who are making sunshiny layouts, and here's why:
