January 30: Clean and Simple Challenge

When I started my paper scrapbooking journey I used the graphic lines style.

Even though we are done, I'm still determined to finish up.
I loved doing this. Thanks for the push to do something more simple than I usually do.

 

I love both of these styles but chose the more minimalist one this time. Thanks for the challenge!

 

Minimalist

 

This challenge confused me a bit... I am definitely NOT a lover of white space... all that wasted space!!!! But I had no idea my style was considered Graphic... I think of Graphic as being edgy, with lots of specific lines and angles... that I like... but then people started posting filled pages with minimal decor added... that has always been my style all the way back to paper days... Just never heard it called Graphic before... I had a page ready that was perfect for this, and then realized it had been done with one of the Lynn's minimal templates.. so at 30 minutes to closing time , I quickly grabbed a few items I picked up last week for "fast" pages... Fast is not in my vocabulary!!! Well, this is probably one of the fastest pages I have ever thrown together.. that said, I layered the background paper, and extracted the center element.. Centered things are not my bag either, and then layered the papers and erased, until I had a cohesive page... Barely got it in under the wire, because my computer froze at the final moment, right after I got it into the completed layouts thread!... Didn't make it to 31 but almost... I did the Lay out a day things at the same time on another site... and had a pretty busy social life at the same time...
