I already have layouts about my home(s) over the years so I had to find a different way to go. First try ended up in the trash. I actually had never documented that I've only lived in 2 areas of Ohio in my life so here it is.
My grandfather was raised in urban Philadelphia but always wanted to be a farmer. After the death of his father, he and his mother sold their Phila home, took all their savings and moved to rural PA where they built this home and my grandfather pursued his dream of being a farmer. It's hard to see but he is sitting in the uppermost middle window of the house in the photo.
I've need to do this for a while. Thanks for the challenge! Day 28 - There's No Place Like Home by chai posted Jan 28, 2023 at 1:47 PM
Loved our time in Rhode Island but happy to be back home in Minnesota, 5 moves since we got back here but all within 20 minutes of town
I used a picture from way back in 2003 when we moved into our current house. I clipped a map paper to the tag behind my photo.
This was really fun. I'm thankful for Zillow which had pictures of my old houses (even though they looked different back then). Thanks for the challenge!
The jpeg image looks so much darker than my layered file, but here it is. I used a metal house charm and google map blended into the paper.
The houses we've lived in since we got married in 1997. The home we are in now is the first one we have owned, and we don't plan on moving again.
