Hi, Sharon here with the challenge for August. Summer is coming to an end unless of course you live in the deep south where you get to enjoy summer long after August. School starts soon- my grandson starts Pre-school(tears!) on the 15th. Boy am I going to miss him. Let's enjoy the time we have and make a happy layout about summer- hopefully it has been fun (if not scrap it anyway!) Scrap a vacation, a fun time or anytime. I think I will scrap one of the vacations we took this summer. I will use the latest release from NBK Design-Sea you later- a fun summer kit, perfect for your summer layouts and Templates 2022 {August} weeks 31-35 (9 x 12) Summary of instructions: 1. Create a layout about summer-it can be about anything summer-vacation or an excursion-anything about summer. 2. You may choose one of Nicole's templates if you want to use one. ANY template. (This is optional) Remember to include the name of the template in your credit lists. 3. Include a list of ingredients, instructions and at least one photo. 4. Your page can be any style - artsy, clean, pocket, notebook etc... @Angela Toucan Create a layout about summer or using a template? Use of a template is acceptable and optional.
I think Angela is referring to instruction n. 3. It looks like an instruction from a previous recipe challenge.
Well it was an unexpected summer with both of us coming down with COVID and travel plans cancelled after July 5!
Thank you Sharon for the challenge. fThe summer has been one of extreme with temperatures reaching 41C at some point and all the familiar summer colors turned golden brown.
