Someone comes up to you and asks you to impromptu speak at least 15 minutes about a subject. No notes just off the top of your head. I would be able to talk about: Ferrets and their care. The ins and outs of playing Pokémon Go I could talk about pharmacology but that’s work related and no fun. what are you talking about?
Scrapping/photoshop, iphones/apps, games/board/card, books/authors, movies, dogs, New Jersey, New York, teens/kids, beach.summer fun, music/concerts, and me, lol!
One or two murder investigations (IE true crime stories), vegan protein, books, cooking, yarn/knitting/crochet, stories from my genealogy research, best shows on Netflix, and my probably most boring topic for anyone else to listen to: the theology of Jehovah's Witnesses (wrote my thesis on that. Yep. Theology Nerd!)
Dental hygiene! lol Link between oral health & systemic health; Sleep apnea; and off topic- Books/authors, Electric Vehicles, Bulldogs!

Besides scrapbooking... the 1969 Moon Landing and Neil Armstrong Havanese breed of dogs my family genealogy (just spent 20 minutes talking about this with a cousin. A distant cousin age 98 passed away last week and we were figuring out the lineage to us!)
Books, - paint versus pencil, - procrastination (yep I am fast becoming an expert on the subject ) - textures made with thread, for and against...
Taking photos in a photo studio Service dogs Wedding planning Being shocked by electricity Scrapbooking Autism Naps TV shows of all sorts
Digital scrapbooking, of course!!! pregnancy/childbirth, although I'm a bit rusty on the topic; it was one I researched so thoroughly a couple of decades ago before having my own children that I seriously considered becoming a doula and briefly considered becoming a midwife child development parenting homeschooling/unschooling photography some political topics my thoughts about religion/atheism some geography, biology, and other science topics maybe; they're definitely great interests of mine southern California (particularly San Diego, where I lived the first 29 years of my life) travel vloggers (specifically the several I watch every week) veganism -- my newest interest Having listed all those, I might NOT like being in this scenario -- suddenly put on the spot out of the blue -- so maybe my list should have nothing on it. However, I DO like talking about these topics with people I at least know a little, so feel free to ask me about any of them, because I do feel I know many TLP friends a least a little!
Religion - Jesus / Forever Families / The plan of happiness Digital scrapbooking Binge watching shows - I'd binge all day if my family would let me Playing cards and board games Food storage / prepper pantry Wedding planning (speedy Utah style) - Aspen is getting married on Sept 7th!
OH my gosh REALLY?!?! That's so exciting and so SOON! You're gonna rock it and I can't wait to see pictures.
Obviously I could talk about scrapbooking until I was blue in the face. I could also talk about my work, but mostly people get glassy eyed after about 15 seconds. I could talk about books, painting, art journaling, crochet, camping and how to avoid cleaning.
Scrapbooking Poets/Poetry Writing Photoshop Music Dogs True Crime Myself My kids My husband Introvert-ism Astrology Pet peeves

What a fun thread! For me it would be: dogs birds photography scrapping hiking exercises diets - vegetarian (twice for a few yrs each) and keto/low carb twice (for yrs and currently doing keto) food prepping book recommendations tv show binging
First thought--absolutely nothing! I'm more of a listener who makes short comments. Monologuing for 15 minutes sounds absolutely awful to me. (Quiet introverts for the win!) But if you only want to know what I *could* speak for 15 minutes on: Digital scrapbooking Smith-Magenis Syndrome Early childhood education or special education Raising a child with disabilities and launching them into adulthood (this would be at least 50% a rant about how people are basically on their own in areas where we really need systemic investments) Ranting about gender role inequalities in family life Going back to school in your 40's My family/neighborhood/childhood/whatever very specific to my life
Well, I could NEVER stand up and talk to a group of people - I would probably faint dead away. However, if this is pretend land, I guess I could talk about scrapbooking, specifically digital; my love of photography; books I love; training dogs; and I could totally bore them talking about my fabulous grandchildren.
