Thanks for hosting Christa! I was inspired by the word “picture” and by the colors black and blue. Here’s my page:
Thank you for the challenge. Made me look at old photos of my "little baby". Looked through my Lilystash to find a camera, and I found this kit. Luckily, it had almost the same quote as a word art. Here's my layout:
So many things from the original layout provided inspiration for my layout. The use of a negative strip as the photo frame, the masking and multi-media elements behind the picture and frame, the use of a plain background to help the picture to stand out... Great layout, Christa / cfile !
The quote inspired me. So I chose a photo that tells a story but not easily understood from just the picture.
I hope it's okay, for some reason I decided to make a two paged scrap page for this, this is the left side.
I was inspired by reading the story of Nancy Green. This picture tells a story about an African American woman who gave much to American women, both black and white. If you'd like to find more about Nancy Green and the efforts to commemorate her leadership. Read NPR's "The Fight to Commemorate Nancy Green"
Thaank you for the challege. That quote is my scrapping motto so I took the inspiration literally and scrapped a photo that tells a story. The camera is on one of the journlaing cards bottom right. Journaling and credits in the gallery.
Sorry, mine is a bit on the sad side of things, but important to record and this seemed the perfect spot for it.....
