Hello helloooo!!!! Hope you are having a great weekend! The weather here in the UK has been killing us (too cold!) good thing I don't need to out! This month I bring you the Scraplift Challenge!!!! It is extremely difficult to make a choice, but one needs to be made.... this month we will be lifting Carol aka @Iowan !!! Her gallery is full of gems, and I checked, I don't think she has been lifted n the past year or so, I'm always amazed with her pages and she has a range that will be great for any style... You can find Carol's gallery HERE Please, post first the page you chose to lift here, then your page, and don't forget to credit the designer/s you use in your page! Apologies for the delay, I had no slept for days yesterday and ...well, apologies, but here it is This is the page I lifted (images are linked!) and this is my take on it (credits in my gallery!) Remember our monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the May Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). Have FUN, be Inspired! Can't wait to see your pages!!!!!!!

I had to really look hard for a page I wanted to 'lift' and finally settled on this one... I took a photo & extracted my actual junk journal I am making for my sister from our vacay last summer in Durango & Silverton Colorado. It's going to be very cool when finished with tons of little secret compartments that hold photos of our trip. Hers: Mine:
I'll do this one. Ought to be interesting! Did a bit of a change up in color, but this was a great page to try to do.
I simply adore carol's layouts. have loved watching her grands grow up through the love in her scrapping layouts. I am choosing this one to lift. My take:
I could have a field day scrap lifting this whooooole gallery! But I'm going to start with this layout. It's from a template that I don't have; I'll use the colors, shapes, stacked thin layers, and lots of photos as an inspiration.
I basically went to the back of Iowan's gallery, and picked this layout: Picked a photo from 2014, a wooden background, and then I sort of went crazy....

I swear I could almost hear your voice when reading your answer.... thanks, because this is one of the things that make my heart sing : when a challenge/scrap/chat gives scrappers a pleasure in making the page....... priceless Hope you will be playing for iNSD in the weekend!!!!
I feel way over my head with this, @Iowan is so very talented. I will attempt to scrap lift this page:
