Hello happy scrappers, and welcome to March's Style challenge. For this month I'd like to challenge you to incorporate some circles into your layout. Please feature circles in some way, either as a shape for your photo(s)/papers or as a foundational layer. Circles here are part of the design - patterned papers and photos I used Compass a Lilypad collab by the Lilypad Designers and Lynn Grieveson Design's Botanical Mix Shivering kit. Circles here are looser and more artsy - but still easily identifiable. I used NBK Design's Be Beautiful Be Bold mini kit. Circles here are bold dots in the patterned paper. I created a layout using Right Now: Misc Mixed Media Basics, Mixed Media Paperie, Mixed Media Artistry Style challenge is to feature the circle shape in an easily identifiable way. As always, please remember our monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the March Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
@cfile Christa Dear...If That Is Supposed To Be A Layout Picture?...It Doesn't Show...I Just Thought I'd Let You Know......
here's mine - i don't use circles very often but when you have beach ball photos... polka paper, circle photo crop and some round elements with the ball/circle theme
Had no idea where I was going with this... I just started putting circles on the paper and then I found that cool dandelion paper and it hit me as to what to do with it. I may add a bit to it later if I can find some single dandelion seeds, but for now here it is. Credits in gallery.
