    I think this is the first year that I have loaded all my pages this early!
    Previous years Ive been within 1 hour of the challenge closing and still finishing off and loading pages! What a lovely change
    Once again I have thoroughly enjoyed the Month of Challenges and so happy with the pages I've created! So many ideas I never would've given a try!
    Thank you!

    This one pushed me but I decided to do it as a coordinating page to the ten facts about you challenege and that helped me come up with some of my items. Thank you for the great challenge I actually love how this one came out:

    Can't believe it's over. This is me, sort of...well at least today. I wonder what will happen if I'd take this challenge in a couple of months. Or in a couple of years from now. Would be great to see what has changed.

    I used elements that represent what I love most--learning, the awe of our universe, love, and hope. I art journal so there is lots of paint and doodles. I love the blue color of the background. It is a bit messy and chaotic and creative--just like me!

    I went quite abstract with this challenge in the sense that I didn't choose concrete symbols of things I am or like; instead I went for general themes, moods and feelings that I felt capture me as I am now. I hope this interpretation of the challenge works!
    What I wanted to cover with my design choices was:
    - I wanted deep, rich, warm colours and a bold mix of patterns to represent a certain "muchness" (I don't know a better word in English)
    - I wanted florals and nature themes to represent both my sensitivity and my love of nature
    - I wanted paint splotch shapes to represent the many varied parts/ colours of my life coming together
    - The background has both a faint text pattern and a faint topography pattern, to represent my love of books, knowledge, lyrics, history and communication, and my love of the outdoors, blending into my personality
    - The hues of green and blue though? That wasn't conscious! I just picked all the patterns that I was instinctively drawn to - and this came out.

    These types of introspective, self-aware challenges are always really difficult for me. I've loved seeing all the symbolism included in everyone's pages, though. It's helped me to get to know you more. :wub

    I used:
    doodles because I love to doodle;
    staples to hold stuff together (like I try to do);
    eyeglasses- cause I wear them
    Books, library card and a bookworm- I love to read
    Storyteller tag- I like to tell stories and hear oral stories told.
    Bird and Butterfly as I have always wanted to fly
    brown leaves as I tend to have a brown/black thumb and kill all plants I touch
    Heart Leaf- love my people
    "3"- mom of 3
    Hourglass- our minutes are numbered, though we don't know how many we will get
    Messy background as I tend to be a bit messy
    Gesso/ chipped layers- I love vintage things that are used and have some chips and scratches

    Not totally happy with this... will probably continue to work on it, but need to get it posted now... I had so much fun choosing things that would tell you about me without words I think I pretty much achieved that... I used a LOT of Rebecca's things... Actually went through her things folder by folder... all credits are in the gallery and I will link the kits I used the most...

    I normally scrap very messy and full, but at my heart I'm a minimalist who loves clean lines, fall colors and introspective journaling :)
    thanks so much for this!
