January 31: You are your own work of art You made it!! Welcome to the final challenge of MOC 10! This past year has been a year of reflection for me, an opportunity to think about what is important to me, about who I am (and who I want to be). In fact, my "one little word" for 2022 is self - so many possibilities with that one. So, in honor of ourselves, I want you to scrap a page about who you are, what makes you, you. For this challenge, you must create a page that showcases who you are, and contains the following quote from Madonna: "I am my own experiment. I am my own work of art." Take this opportunity to dig through your stash and find elements and papers that speak to you, and use them to let yourself shine through your page. Do some soul searching into who you are, and get creative in picking a wide variety of items to create the work of art that is you. Have fun with this; think about different ways to show yourself in this page. A single photo of yourself is optional, but it must be of just you, and not you with anyone else. My page is below. Most of you know me as a clean and simple scrapper, but in reality, I am anything but simple. My page reflects the many facets of my personality; who I am, not how I scrap: If it helps to understand how I went about creating my page, I've included: Background paper that's a little rough and edgy Orange, blue and green, representing fire, water and earth Bird in flight - me Relevant word art Washi tape with music; music and lyrics speak to me Yin & yang; I believe everything is connected to a complimentary opposite Heart elements, for love and kindness Key - I am the key to my own happiness Gear element, representing resourcefulness Messy thread, for the hot mess I can sometimes be Leaves and flowers, for my love of nature Giraffe - I love them! Circle frame, for my belief that everything comes full circle To recap your guidelines: Scrap a page that uses elements and papers that reflect who you are. There are no restrictions as to what type of elements you use. Have fun and be creative! Your page must contain the quote: "I am my own experiment. I am my own work of art." It is optional if you want to include a credit to Madonna for the quote. Journaling beyond the required quote is optional A single photo of yourself is optional. If you use a photo, it must be ONLY of you (not you with someone else) Templates are not allowed. Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places: Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site). Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish. Your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count). If you use product from other stores, your pages must contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers). I hope everyone has enjoyed our MOC event this year. In your own special way, you are all works of art ...
Reserving for questions 1. Can I use the same photo multiple times? No, your page needs to only have one photo on it. 2. If you alter the quote in any way, you must also use it as it was provided somewhere else on the page
I've had fun participating. Thanks so much for doing this year after year and please don't ever stop! *To Cath* you are not a disgrace. Keep your head high with positive thoughts.

This was an interesting challenge to have for our last one. Here is what I created as I do not agree with the statement!
Who I am as a scrapbook page A white background because I like my own space. A staple because I hold everyone together. Hearts because I have a lot of love to give. Scattered sequins because I’m messy. Ripped paper because I’ve had my fair share of pieces ripped away. Black lace because I love black and I can be delicate and sensitive. Flowers because I love nature. Happy happy happy word art because I work hard to stay positive. Never give up charm for my determination. Star themed Brad for my optimism. Camera because I love taking photos. Geotag because my favourite thing is exploring and taking trips. Relax beads because I sometimes need a reminder to stop trying to people please and just let myself rest. A Christmas tree because Christmas is my favourite time of year. The quote is in the label at the bottom of the photo.
Thanks Julie for hosting! I had fun with this and I am so happy, despite my fractured humerus at the end of November, that I was able to complete MOC 10. It was amazing, and I cannot thank you, Laura and the rest of the Polly's for another year of MOC!
