What was a challenge... lots of second guessing... is this element white or cream? haha Tule, eyelet ribbon, dollie, 2 bead scatter, rose resin, flower resin, bead, gesso, white metal flower, loving clip, just us title, frame, splatter, white paper
@amandac I LOVED this challenge. As soon as I read it I thought to myself OOOOOHHHH I want to do a black page, I wonder if I have enough in my stash. And I had great photos in mind to convert to B&W too. I gathered my stash, scrapped my page, then went to find the credits .... only to discover Pink Reptile Design is no longer in the store! Luckily, some of the elements were from collabs or kits I could still find. However, I did have to find new ones for some. So, yes, truly a challenge. I saved my original cause there are parts I like better, but this one works, I think. Thanks again for stretching me!
MOC 10: Day 18: All Black or All White with B/W Photo 10 Elements: 1 black frame, 1 black string, 3 black stitches, 1 black bow, 4 black thin flowers, 2 black roses, 1 sparkly flower, black background, black photo Products Used: https://the-lilypad.com/store/Winter-Wishes-Element-Pack.html thinner black flower https://the-lilypad.com/store/Dear-2021-Elements.html black frame, black bow, other black flowers, stitching, string in background Photo Credit: Unknown (my family's photo archives, circa 1929) The flowers seemed much more black on my original layout!
I use lots of white backgrounds in my scrapping, so I was sure that I would do an all-white page. Then I decided on the picture and it just lent itself so well to a darker layout, so I dove in and did all black! I haven't done the blended photo challenge from @FarrahJobling yet because I don't have a new photo I want to use, but I did use the gradient technique for the first time ever! This was a lot of fun. Thanks for the great challenge!
PRD kits are still being accepted for the rest of MOC! (My stash is so heavy on Mirjam's designs that I would have cried if I had to finish MOC without using any of her stuff!) You can see the official info here: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/moc-q-a.81020/page-4#post-1411487

This was the biggest challenge for me so far, I decided to go with black as I feel white would have been a little easier for me personally. But I'm glad I went black as this is so unlike anything I've created before:
10 different flowers, stitches, sequins, white period used as element, paint, 3 word arts, 2 papers, 4 enamel dots, heart stamp, beads, alpha
