Awesome challenge! I've never done an all black page, sounds intriguing! Question: does black paint count as an element?
i love seeing texture in single colour pages and i ended up blending two of the ForeverJoy Lace papers behind bits of Gesso from Paula so that i could use them both (because decisions are too hard and i couldn't decide which paper i loved more - i know, scrapbooker struggles!)
It is 12:30AM here... next challenge usually NOT posted.. thought I'd pop in and take a look and oh my goodness.. some of you must sit here doing nothing but wait for the next challenge 2 pages worth already posted!!! So since I like dark my first inclination was Black of course, but the example was so dark, I decided , white might make a more useable page, but I see others have posted varying degrees of black which makes a much more enjoyable page... Well I have sat here too long already so will probably wait till tomorrow to tackle this... will be dreaming about it!!!!!

This week I am doing a big tidy up in my computer craft room and today just happened to be sorting old photos and came across this one of my Great-Aunts so I thought I would use it for this challenge. the 10 required elements - Flower, pearls, large lace, lace scrap, doily, berries, threads, ribbon, corners, leaves.
@amandac If the element I'm using is black with a tiny bit of colour, can I use desaturate and make it completely black, or do I need to only use an element that is originally totally black in the kit(s) I'm using?

Hi Marilyn, I don't mind a little desaturation but would prefer you to have fun and hunt through your stash for black/white elements where possible
