I’ve been working with my daughter on reading and trying to come up with fun ways to “play” while learning! Looking throught my stash of digi supplies, I pulled out elements that were spelled with 3 and 4 letters. I then made a grid of 2” x3” rectangles on my 8 1/2” x 11“ paper (in PS) and then just plopped all of them in each space. Under each element, i then named each of them. I then printed them, cut them out and placed them in a tin i had with cute letter blocks i found for a $1 at Michaels! The idea is for her to pick out a card and then find the letters to spell it! We of course, say the word and letters as we’re “playing” each card. I also made a simple cover for the tin with my “hello, my name is” label from my collab with Lili, Me kit! Easy, right?! If you have a young one, give it a try, it’s fun and special and you can you use your favorite elements that you love or want! I love finding more uses of my supplies!
