Month of Challenges is coming!!!

It is such a great way to spend January. I love it every year. Also especially this year ,it is definitely a good way to stay indoors,without feeling shut in or that we are missing out. Can't wait.

 

There's nothing exciting about January except...MOC!!!! It's the perfect way to start off a new year!

 

Had so much fun last year I'm going to try it again!

 

I'd like to participate, but still not sure if I'm eligible, every time I try to participate in a challenge, I either can't post in gallery because of one rule or another, or I haven't posted enough in the forums, it's confusing and I've found it difficult to figure out the rules about participating.... so I hope to give it a shot, but I'm afraid I'm going to run into another hidden rule along the way about why I can't participate, I've literally been trying to figure this out since July of this year. A tad frustrating...

 

I can't remember how many posts are required by new members but I see under your name you've now reached 6 so you're on your way! Welcome to TLP! It really is an awesome place. I visit at least once a day. I'm sure you'll be able to participate in MOC. There is just one long post describing the whole thing in the MOC forum. It's not really complicated though. Just follow the directions of each daily challenge using current products from the store. The challenges are much more creative than the monthly ones the rest of the year, so it's a really invigorating month of scrapping.

@myka As with everything else, the MOC is open to all members of the Lily-pad. But you may need to get your post count over 10. That is the magical number for all things.

I registered and reviewed the rules and I'm excited to get going!

(Every year I use MOC as a way to kick start my scrapbooking. It works, until around March when the high school activities ramp up again and I stop scrapbooking "temporarily", but don't pick it back up in April when it all slows down again. I end up being one of those people who are active during MOC and part of February, and then I disappear for the rest of the year.

I have high hopes (but not expectations) that this year will be different!)

 

may have started a bit too ambitiously by building myself a bunker so i can hideout and scrap the whole of January

(well ok technically that is a lie, but it would be so cool!)

 

I am so, so excited for this! I love the motivation and the challenge to try new things!!

 

@bellbird I have my PC where I can go and just close the door to block everything out but, Alas, the dog, and the cat will find me!

 

@bellbird That bunker is sooo funny!
@sakura-panda MOC jump starts my scrapbooking too. It only lasts until May/June. I need another kick in the pants in summer.
