yes how do you do that . i am using a birthday one on my backround page and can clip a paper to it but i would prefer to have a paper behind the bacround page that comes thru in the shape
well, I'll try to explain, sorry for my English! I add the paper I desire to show on the "gap", under the cutfile. Then, I use the magic wand (I use PS), I select inside the letter - so the marching ants appear and the gap is inside. then I use a ctrl+alt+i shortcut and hit delete. the whole paper should be deleted and remain only the part inside the Letter.... let me know if this helps, I'm not with my PS open now, I'm telling you what I remember....I hope it's easy to understand my tutorial =P
thank you i am going to try to do this . and will let you know...or show you what i am workingon i got it to work ..thank you . i have black paper as the under paper so the depth doesnt really show as much but it will do . thank you again
I'm happy I could help you!! Black paper is a little bit difficult to add shadows, but I can see the depth, it's very good! love your page!
These two tutorials might help also .... They are found on Liz's blog. Cutting out Cut Outs - http://www.scrappingwithliz.com/2018/02/cutting-out-cut-outs.html and Shadowing Cut Outs - http://www.scrappingwithliz.com/2018/04/start-shadowing.html
It came out great! your shadowing makes it look cutout perfectly! (and i totally agree shadowing on black is quite difficult)
