Hello everyone and welcome to the last month of regular challenges before we hit the end of 2021 and look forward to the 10th year of The Month of Challenges. I'm pretty darn excited about that! I am honored to host this month's Scraplift challenge, and am using the opportunity to pick one of my favorite scrappers here at The Lilypad.... Roxana! The Scraplift Challenge is super easy, simply browse in Roxana's amazing gallery and find one layout that you love and then create your own layout inspired by her layout. After you create your scraplifted layout, please show/link in this thread the page you are lifting, and then your rendition. The hardest part of this challenge for me was to pick only one page that I loved! I had a dozen layouts open within the first few pages! I finally narrowed down my choice to this gorgeous Autumn layout by Roxana: and here is my scraplifted version: I can't wait to see which pages you choose to scraplift from Roxana's gorgeous gallery! Remember our monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the December Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day on the 1st Friday of the month. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
I'm going to scraplift this one Here's mine I was inspired by the b&w sketch on one side and color on opposite side.
Too many to choose from. I was inspired by this layout and I fell in love with the couple. I tried to recreate it in Photoshop and did an ok job, but I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the fuzzy edges. Here's mine:
Thank you, @Karen , for choosing my gallery as an inspiration! This is such a great honor! I am really excited and so anxious to see all the amazing pages. Well, to scraplift one of my own pages is quite a challenge... I started from this layout: because his face is always an endless source of inspiration, and this one is the new page:
Well, I saw that several lifted the same one that I chose. So, I also lifted this one: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/october.485791/ And my version of it: A baby is a dancing joy of life by Scrap by Irre posted Dec 4, 2021 at 3:09 PM
I chose this one: Here's mine reflecting the questions/wonder of discovering snow as inspired by Roxanne's layout above:
