Love them all. Chips/fries with tomato sauce please. Baked with sour cream. Mashed anyhow, anyway. Haven't tried the purple ones, but I'd be game.
I am Danish ,so liking potatoes is practically a national requirement. I like them every which way. Favourite (but I don't have it often ) is pan fried with onion and a small bit of bacon. Other is in the oven with other root vegetables and garlic and herbs, or plain boiled. Love French fries. Home made with just salt. Mayo to dip in. Chips with salt only. Not keen on flavours.
Well, my background/food heritage is Irish and Canadian; so yeah, I do love a potato. And I'm a little bit fussy about mashed potatoes, I must confess (please don't ever use an electric mixer to mash your spuds! that just makes them all glue-like and gummy: please use a wooden spoon, like our grandmothers did...), and of course, my mother made the best mashed potatoes ever!.... I love them baked, boiled, mashed, or julienne-fried. When it comes to chips/french fries, I go for salt and vinegar.
