NBK Design October 2021 Challenge

    We are moving into my favourite season, Autumn. I love the rich colours, smells, and food that this season brings. I am definitely a soup, chili, tea, hoodie, jeans, sweats kind of girl. My dog is even the perfect colour for this season as she blends in quite well with the landscape, lol. That is the lead in for my challenge this month :)

    RULES:
    1. Take a large photo, must be at least a quarter of your page, and blend it. You can add other photos as long as there is a large blended one.
    2. choose your favourite season
    3. use colours that you associate with that season
    4. fill your page! Go nuts, use elements, paints, blend papers. I don't want to be able to see much of your background paper (a little bit peeking out is fine).
    5. you may add journaling and/or word art if you wish

    I started out with a solid off-white paper, blended my large photo, added, leaves, sprinkles, paint, and some brushwork. My colours are those we associate with Autumn, orange, green, brown, red, and my photo is of Harlow in the leaves. She does blend in quite nicely doesn't she? ♥

    This challenge runs from October 1 to October 31, 2021

    Summer and fall are a toss up for favorites, but I love the browns and blues and gold of the in between those seasons the most of all so hopefully got that reflected in my page.

    sorry everyone for being absent, my dad had a bad fall landing him in hospital and surgery, then they put someone who ended up testing positive for COVID in the same room, dad tested negative thankfully and they moved him.........it's been a crazy couple of weeks!

    Dad is healing well and has been moved to the Rehab facility where he will receive physio and occupational therapy.

    I am making comments on your lovely layouts and will be back with a winner soon!!
