I'm just seeing this now!! Thank you sooo much, everyone! I really can't believe it! I never think of my own work here is up to snuff. I see other people's layouts and think all of you can do so much better. I see techniques I would love to be able to do. Maybe I'm too hard on myself or not appreciating my own artistry. Maybe others think the same of their own work. I now have more confidence in my work but know I have so much more to learn. I really love being a member of the Lilypad family.
The little astronaut in the photo was five years old. He is my youngest son, Elijah. The photo was from his school's "Spring Personality" photo day. Each child could wear whatever they wanted to show who they are. Most wore sports outfits or dressed up but my son has autism and doesn't play sports and does not like "itchy" dress clothes. At that time he really wanted to go to the moon! He is now 17 and a Brony musician. In between then and now his ideas of his future have changed so many times but he still dreams big! I still cherish this picture of my silly little guy! I loved using this kit "Stardust" by Paula Kesselring. It has so many vintage space elements and I love the dark and kind of spooky space backgrounds. They make me feel I'm in the coldness of space. Thank you Polly @FarrahJobling for choosing my layout out of all the awesome work here!

Congrats Terri, you always have the most gorgeous pages and your stories touch our hearts..... super well deserved!!!
some of my friends tell me I was lucky with Sarita because she knew what she wanted to be since she was 2 years old.....80% of my friend's kids have changed their minds so many times..... my nephew dropped 2 years of med school to go to Law.....
if she keeps being a musician, show us what he does!!!!
