Hello everyone! I love seeing the BYOC Collections (August and March) that are inspired by our member winners during our DSD and iNSD events. This month I thought I'd create a Mood Board as our September Inspiration challenge. For your challenge, I want you to pick three things to be inspired by from the Mood Board. Here is the inspiration board for your layout: In case you wondered, September is National Honey Month and National Mushroom month. And since I like food.... As always, you can be inspired by the colors, the theme, the quote, the contrast in fonts, anything on the board. When you post your layout, please include the three things that inspired you. I was inspired by the colors, the fall foliage photo, the hello September (hello autumn veneer) and the contrast of the script and serif font (I used a script and typewriter font for my title). Challenge Reminders: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the September Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread so we can admire it! The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store coupon discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day (September 3rd). Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I hope you are inspired and enjoy creating this month!

Thanks for the challenge! I was inspired by the grid layout of the mood board, the sunflowers, and the browns & greens in the colors.
using grid, yellow and round elements from the mushroom picture for inspiration, if that won't do then "fruit of the season" in my case berries rather than veg.
The road was the main thing that got this page started. Then the hand written sentiment, and "seasons" but I took it less literally. I took these photos Sunday. When I saw what our neighbors have done, as a Vet's wife who lost friends in Afghanistan, and remembering our struggle of 911/Operation Desert Shield-Storm, we were deeply touched!
I was inspired by the orange and yellow title, orange and yellow in the color swatch and the flowers in the bottom right corner.
I was inspired by September, colors (and nature) and combination of handwritten and printed font inthe title. Here's my page...
I was inspired by the leaves, the color orange, and the two different contrasting fonts for the title and journaling. I smudged the journaling for posting, but here's what it says: I look at this picture and I see what I wish I had. When I grew up, I thought we had a very close-knit family who would stick by each other through thick and thin. As time went by, I could see the cracks but didn't believe them. Once my Momma died I knew it was true. I mourn the loss of the family I thought I had. Moving to Las Vegas gave me feet that I knew could stand on my own and the strength and courage to forge my own path. That came with a price: Losing my brother and sister's respect. I chose a different path than they did, and even speaking my mind around them gets me shut out, yelled at, and ridiculed. I miss them so much, but I cant pretend to be that which I am not.
My husband's dad on the bike and his aunt and uncles as children. Three more of this clan were not born yet. My inspirations were : the colours the wood the font for the words "Summer 1943" (KG Piece By Piece)
Thanks for the challenge and the lovely mood board! I was inspired by the colors, especially the flowers in the lower right, and mushrooms!
