They're just pictures, right? I still have the memories of the days... I updated my OS and thought I had read everything beforehand and had a backup of my recent photos. Guess what? Apparently, 2020-today never happened. I'm gut-punched.
Oh Susan, that is not good news to read of. Were they photos from your phone? or camera? I know I am a little crazy but I keep each years SD card from my camera with buying a new SD card each year ( I only delete double up photos or ones that do not look good etc) as well as having the photos on two different EHDs.
Oh that's awful! Can totally relate. I lost a year of photos (around 2008-09) and I still wish I had them! I hope you can recover them!
Oh, that is definitely sickening. I'm just hoping that the photos are somewhere else or they can be retrieved by some brilliant techie person. ((HUGS))
Thank you all. I’ve been pretty bummed all day about it. They are definitely gone. At least I have our 2020 Project 52 book and half of 2021 done. I’ll have to take photos from my hubby and daughter and fill in the months of June - September.
Ugh. This has happened to me. I feel for you. It always the missing photos I look for again and again! I'm so sorry!
I know your pain. I've lost so many photos over the years. That really sucks. What kind of update was it, to your phone or computer? I never knew an update could do this.
Nooooooooo!!! How awful. I hope your hubby and daughter have plenty of photos to fill-in the summer months.
