August Inspiration Challenge

I was inspired about the bright colors.... and the little round things, LOL.
Here is mine..... The M & M Caper.

I'm not sure what didn't inspire me - I needed a nudge to scrap the new arrival in my crafting life. The style is totally outside my comfort zone, so I just kept pushing at it. I tried to stop several times... and then I'd look again at the original and think, "Nope, I need more." I think the only thing I didn't quite adopt was the color palette! Thanks for the nudge outside my comfort zone!

My 1st layout after a year off! I only have 2 kits on my new laptop so it was challenging but fun! It only took me hours to do! Forgive any mistakes as I'm kind of stale right now.
My inspiration was the sprinkles of confetti, the watercolour, the way the photos were added, the bright colours and the paint splashes.

 

I was inspired by the arrngement of photos you used

 

ok, I took more from your page than just a little bit, Stef, I used the light bg, the paint, and threads, a single big photo and a series of smaller ones, and a big shiny title (Glimmer is what Favilla's name is in Latin).

 

My GGS ate his birthday cake like he was painting a masterpiece. I was inspired by all the paint, the 4 photo strip, the blue painting photo, the stitching and flowers.
